Who are you and where do you come from? -  Wie ben je en waar kom je vandaan?

My name is Will Sanders –  Mijn naam is Will Sanders

I am from the Netherlands (Holland) – Ik kom uit Nederland (Holland)

I live in Mangum now – Ik woon nu in Mangum

I would like to teach you some Dutch language - Ik wil jullie wat Nederlandse taal  leren

First we count One to Ten to practice some pronounciation – Eerst tellen we van Een tot Tien voor wat uitspraakoefeningen

 

One Two Three Four Five Six Seven Eight Nine Ten – Een Twee Drie Vier Vijf Zes Zeven Acht Negen Tien

Eight will be most difficult – Acht zal het moeilijkst zijn

 

I would like to explain something about a typical Dutch song and the Dutch culture by a song written by “Vader Abraham”, 30 years ago, nearby my home town “Geldrop” in the Netherlands.

Daar telt je geld of wie je bent, niet meer mee - There money or where you’re from

doesn’t count anymore
