POTTERY

 

Pottery was my first experience with clay.  After thirty years it is my area of play.  I play with shapes, both thrown and hand built.  I play with glazes.  I work for quality pieces to please the eye and the hand.  Everything I do is one of a kind.  There may be similar pieces, but never identical.  All pottery making is time consuming.  Production pottery (large quantities of the same thing) is tedious.  I’d rather have fun.  How about you?
